grassroots lawn care branding

Grassroots Lawn Care is a small business that consists of one employee servicing a limited range of residential clients. GLC needed my help to develop a slightly more professional image and to create a cost efficient way to communicate with their potential market. A meeting was held to examine competitors existing branding and to explore potential design directions and brand positioning. Because GLC is a small start up and has a limited client capacity, the desired perception of the company was to be subtle yet hard working.

A rough batch of logos was created depicting “small growth” or “initial development” as the central message, with a grass inspired colour palette. A final logo was chosen and then applied to business cards, postcards, flyers, and a Facebook page while keeping the subtle and hardworking feeling consistent. Grassroots lawn care has since grown in size and now employs 2-5 people and have made their services available to business that require ongoing lawn maintenance.
